Day 2 - Sunday, September 21, 2003 - 10 miles south of Lock/Dam #8 - Select Chart 7 on the interactive map at the right.
Day 3 - Monday, September 22, 2003 - After some makeshift repairs on the water intake pump to fix an engine overheating problem, the Abby Normal spent the night docked in the marina at Praire du Chien, WI. Enjoyed a wonderful campfire with some of the friendly folks here. - Select Chart 8 on the interactive map at the right.
Day 5 - Thursday, September 25, 2003 - Today the Abby Normal passed mile marker 514 on its journey southward, and stopped long enough in Bellevue, Iowa to do an interview with a newspaper reporter from the local Herald Reader. - Select Chart 9 on the interactive map at the right.
Day 6 - Friday, September 26, 2003 - Today Walt, Carol, and the Abby Normal are now in Albany, IL. So far they are traveling down the river at a speed of about 9 knots, according to their handheld GPS. - Select Chart 10 on the interactive map at the right.
